Chris Howell and Kate Lazar, the driving force behind Cain Winery, once stood high above the valley floor on Spring Mountain before fire tragically claimed their winery in 2017. The Napa community quickly rallied around them, supporting their journey through the vintages that followed. This wine, sourced from top Napa vineyards, showcases true restraint, with Chris coaxing out the secondary flavors of California—herbs, leather, and beyond. Chris and Kate have been a part of many seasons of the Boston Wine & Food Festival.
