BOSTON, MA (April 7, 2025) - The Boston Harbor Hotel is proud to open a marketplace this Spring, Dandelion, a welcoming space offering a curated selection of artisan roasted coffee, bakery items, grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, and expertly sourced provisions. Dandelion is opening April 7th, ushering in a new era of hospitality to the Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond hotel.

"Dandelion represents our commitment to thoughtful hospitality that extends beyond the traditional hotel experience," said Stephen Johnston, Managing Director of the Boston Harbor Hotel. "By partnering with exceptional local producers, we're creating a space where both hotel guests and Boston locals can experience what New England has to offer. Dandelion aligns perfectly with our vision of luxury that is both sophisticated and sustainable."

Dandelion locally sources its coffee and food menu from New England, with sustainability at the forefront. The marketplace proudly partners with Red Eye Coffee Roasters from Hingham, MA for their signature coffee offerings. Red Eye Coffee is known for their bold and vibrant flavors. The expresso blend features notes of blackberry and brown sugar, with a heavy body, sourced from a blend of Ethiopian and Brazilian Natural beans.

Guests can also enjoy artisanal bakery offerings, snacks, and premade salads and bowls from regional producers and crafted by the hotel’s Executive Chef David Daniels and Executive Pastry Chef Chelsea Fodera. Breakfast options include specialty pastries, a Breakfast Quiche (goat cheese, spinach, artichoke, caramelized onions), Breakfast Sandwich (scrambled eggs, vine ripe tomato, bacon, American cheese on a brioche roll), Egg White Frittata (Maitake mushrooms, spinach leaves, sheep’s milk feta, vine ripe tomato) and Overnight Oats (chia seeds, coconut, cinnamon, oat milk).

For lunch, Dandelion offers convenient grab-and-go options such as the Farro Mediterranean Bowl (romaine, feta, olives, tomato, artichokes, chickpeas, cucumber, pickled onions, balsamic dressing) and the Crunchy Sesame (romaine lettuce, mixed greens, Mandarin oranges, cherry tomatoes, shredded carrots, crunchy noodles, toasted sesame seeds). Some sandwich selections include a Smoked Turkey (cranberry walnut, Vermont cheddar, cornichons, arugula, spicy aioli), HLT (seeded whole wheat, grilled halloumi, garlic aioli, arugula leaves, vine ripe tomato jam, citrus dressing) and The Italian (ciabatta, prosciutto, coppa, mortadella, fresh mozzarella, red wine vinegar).

The carefully curated beverage program extends beyond coffee with refreshing options from Pigeon Cove Kombucha (Gloucester, MA), Just Bubbles (New York, NY), and Boylands Soda (New York, NY). For those seeking adult beverages, Dandelion features an impressive selection of local craft options including Meli Quinoa Beer (Boston, MA), Newport Beer (Newport, RI), Lamplighter Beer (Cambridge, MA), OHZA Drinks (Cambridge, MA), and Down East Hard Cider (Boston, MA), and Notch NA Beer (Cambridge, MA).

In alignment with Dandelion's commitment to environmental stewardship, all packaging for food items and disposables are recyclable and/or compostable, reflecting their dedication to sustainable practices.
